In the past there has been confusion and misunderstanding for Korean Music fans both Korean and Non-Korean who do not speak, read, write or have access to Korean Entertainment news regarding concerts. KHYPE which stands for Korean Hype was created to help clarify concert information, hoping to make Korean music fan's concert experience more exciting and entertaining. KHYPE is a Korean Concert Club. It was co-founded by Alicia Um, Amy Madden, and Chor Moua after they attended the Pacific American Volunteer Association (PAVA) Charity Concert at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, CA on May 29, 2005. KHYPE became official on June 1, 2005 with 10 members and has been growing since. KHYPE itself is organized and run by Korean music fans. We have 10 staff members who are actively updating and gathering information in regards to Korean concerts here in the United States. In the past there have been problems getting information on time or being given incorrect information. KHYPE hopes to ease this situation and keep members and fans up to date with any changes. KHYPE works directly with staff members of various websites and forums that are dedicated to providing the latest on Korean Entertainment. For more information on the websites and forums we work with, please visit the "Links". section.
